IAM Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to design, implement, and manage access control policies for applications, ensuring secure access to critical resources. This role involves managing user identities, roles, and permissions in alignment with least privilege principles, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address access control requirements, and integrating applications with leading identity and access management (IAM) systems like JumpCloud, SailPoint, and Delinea.

What responsibilities will you have?

  • Design and implement access control mechanisms to safeguard application resources.
  • Manage user identities, roles, and permissions, ensuring compliance with least privilege principles and maintaining data confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and gather access control requirements.
  • Integrate application access into ZING access systems, including JumpCloud, SailPoint, and Delinea.
  • Manage application access and entitlements through SailPoint under standard IAM processes.
  • Ensure all privilege access on applications are managed by Delinea.
  • Define and manage role-based access and birthright access policies.
  • Revoke excessive or unnecessary application permissions to maintain security.
  • Develop application access management procedures for the IAM operations team.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Strong understanding of access control policies and mechanisms.
  • Expertise in managing user identities, roles, and permissions, with a focus on least privilege and data security.
  • Experience with IAM systems such as SailPoint, JumpCloud, and Delinea.
  • Proficiency in role-based access control (RBAC) and privileged access management (PAM).
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet security and access control requirements.
  • Familiarity with IAM operations, including defining and implementing access management procedures.
